Kimberly J. Roepke

A graduate of the University of Kansas, Kim Roepke's (formerly Whiting) first career was working as a bond trader and salesman on Wall Street.  After time spent raising her two sons, she attended law school at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.  Ms. Roepke moved to Colorado after graduating from law school  and became involved in volunteering with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).  After passing the Colorado bar, Ms. Roepke set up a law partnership and began practicing family law.  She volunteered as an attorney advisor and speaker for the Children and Families in Transition (C-FIT) program.    She has handled pro-bono cases and has been appointed by the District Court Magistrate as Guardian ad Litem  on several cases.  Ms. Roepke began working with Steven U. Mullens several years ago, when she was helping one of her clients find representation for a serious work comp case involving the death of a worker.  Ms. Roepke assisted Mr. Mullens in working on the case, and after the case concluded Ms. Roepke joined the firm.  Since that time Ms. Roepke has centered her practice on work comp cases and worked exclusively for Steven U. Mullens, P.C. as an Of Counsel attorney until that firm's closure in 2015.  In addition to the practice of worker’s compensation, Ms. Roepke also handles Social Security Disability.  She works out of both the Colorado Springs and the Pueblo office, handling cases from all over southern Colorado.  As the descendant of a long line of Kansas farmers, Ms. Roepke respects and understands the problems of injured workers.  She is active in and contributes to several local organizations.  She is a regular at the gym and enjoys tennis, skiing and hiking. Her hobbies are music, movies, cooking and Jayhawk basketball.
